HerHQ ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our platform at herhq.com (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optional profile details such as your project name, platforms, bio, and avatar color.

Authentication data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Usage data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This data is used to improve the Service.

Content you create: Chat messages, goals, schedule items, content pieces, polls, cheers, and any files you upload are stored to provide the Service's functionality.

Device information: We may automatically collect device type, browser type, operating system, and screen resolution for the purpose of optimizing the user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: operate, maintain, and improve the Service; create and manage your account; display your profile to other members in the coworking space; communicate with you about the Service, including updates and support; enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect the safety of our community; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

With other users: Your display name, avatar, status, and content you post in shared spaces (chat, polls, accountability board, cheers) are visible to other HerHQ members. Private data such as your email address is not shared with other users.

With service providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (hosting and security), and Google (OAuth authentication). These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.

For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of HerHQ, our users, or the public.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security policies. Some data (such as your app preferences and content) may also be stored locally in your browser's localStorage for performance. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including: access to the personal data we hold about you; correction of inaccurate data; deletion of your account and associated data; data portability (receiving your data in a structured format); and objection to certain types of processing. 7. Cookies & Local Storage

HerHQ uses browser localStorage to persist your session and app data (such as chat messages, goals, and content). We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Authentication cookies are set by Supabase to maintain your login session.

8. Children's Privacy

HerHQ is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
